Overview
John Coltrane ranks in the top three tenor saxophone players of all time, along with Hawkins and Young. Coltrane takes virtuosity to new levels with his command of scales and chords. Giant steps is one of the must do’s for all tenor players. He is also noted for reviving the use of the soprano saxophone in his “My Favorite Things” album.
