	Overview Steve Vai's high school musical skills landed him in the Burklee School of Music which led to a meeting with Frank Zappa. Zappa invited Vai to join his group. Zappa's groups were like a training ground for future rock stars. Vai didn't dissapoint him with his Fussion Rock style. Steve was then recruited by David Lee Roth who had just left Van Halen. Vai's virtousic playing was a major ingrediant to the albums success.
