| Overview Bo Diddley was one of Rock's first influential performers. Although his song Who Do You Love? on his self-labeled debut album did not make any of the charts, it inspired another generation of rockers to take a crack at it. Later, the song was recorded by others like Carlos Santana and George Thorogood. His signature beat, which sounded like the old "Shave and a Haircut" theme, was played on his unique instrument called "The Twang Box" which he played more like a drum than a guitar. |
