| A Major Scale - 2 Octaves | |||
| The major scale
is one of the main foundations of our music system. The major scale
fingering pattern can be transfered all over the guitar fretboard. Start of practicing slowly at first, being aware of your finger positions. keep them rounded and square to the fretboard. Remeber slow and right is better than fast and sloppy! After you have learned this scale we will start to alter some of the notes to make other scale patterns like the minor scale or the blues scale. There are literally hundreds of scales to play so you better get started! |
